Dear Ladytats, I am Flemish, B my father was 12 years old in 1944 , when suddenly his father was killed by the germans. His family did not know that their husband and father was amember of the reistance. I have been brought up (dad is 81 today, alive and well) to be gratefull to our american, canadian and british liberators.
I spent the 11/11 week-end with my parents in Osten, where the atmosphere was very clear: we shall never forget!
Thanks to all the brave guys who came here to fight.
